How To Change Your Number

How to change account info (name, email, number, etc.)

With TextNow, you have the option to change your phone number once every fifteen days. Here's how!

1. Open TextNow app on your TextNow phone
2. Tap on the Menu button in the top left-hand of the app, and then tap on the Settings icon
3. Tap Account
4. Tap on TextNow Number
5. Tap on the menu button (three vertical dots) in the top right-hand corner.
6. Tap Release Number to complete the change

Please note: a number change is irreversible once completed. When you release your current number, it can not be returned to you.
