If you've paid for an upgraded subscription, like Lock-In Number or Ad Free+ add-ons but don't see it on your account, please follow the steps below. Often this can be resolved by restoring purchases or by signing in and out of your TextNow account.
Note: Add-ons can only be purchased on the TextNow account associated with your Google Play store or Apple App Store login.
Ad Free+
If you still see ads after paying for Ad Free+ try the following:
1. Sign out of your account, then sign back in.
2. Double check that you are signed in with the same account that you bought your Ad Free+ subscription on. If you buy Ad Free+ on Account A, but are signed in with Account B you will still see ads.
3. For iOS devices only, go into the TextNow app, click on the 3 lines in the top left > Tap on Settings > Scroll down to Purchases > Tap Restore Purchases.
If after doing the above you are still seeing ads please reach out via chat (the purple Support button at the bottom of this page) and we can help you out.
Ad Free Lite
If you are seeing ads other than banner ads then please try the following:
1. Sign out of your account, then sign back in.
2. Double check that you are signed in with the same account that you bought your Ad Free subscription on. If you buy Ad Free Lite on Account A, but are signed in with Account B you will still see ads other than banner ads.
3. For iOS devices only, go into the TextNow app, click on the 3 lines in the top left > Click on Settings > Scroll down to Purchases > Tap Restore Purchases
4. Double check that you are logged in on the right device. Ad Free Lite does not support cross platform use. If you purchased it on iOS, for example, it will only work on iOS.

Premium Number
If you've purchased a premium number don't see the number please, immediately, write down what the premium number was that you chose. You can then reach out to us via chat (the purple Support button at the bottom of this page) and we can investigate and try to get the number added to your account.
If you're on iOS go into the TextNow app, click on the 3 lines in the top left > Click on Settings > Scroll down to Purchases > Tap Restore Purchases
Lock Your Number
If you've purchased our Lock Your Number feature but your number was released please double check you're logged into the correct account. If you're still unable to find your number please reach out to us via chat (the purple Support button at the bottom of this page).
If you're on iOS go into the TextNow app, click on the 3 lines in the top left > Click on Settings > Scroll down to Purchases > Tap Restore Purchases
NOTE: if you manually release your number it will be gone permanently and we are not able to reassign it to an account.
International Long Distance Credits
If you've purchased ILD it can take up to 48 hours to see the purchase reflected onto your account balance. If after 48 hours you still do not see the credit please try the following:
1. Sign out of your account, then sign back in.
2. Double check that you are signed in with the same account that you bought your ILD credits on. If you bought credits on Account A, but are signed in with Account B you will not see the credits.
3. For iOS devices only, go into the TextNow app, click on the 3 lines in the top left > Click on Settings > Scroll down to Purchases > Tap Restore Purchases
