If you're having trouble sending or receiving texts, there are a few things you can check or try:
Check our Twitter feed to see if there's an outage. If we're having any disruption to service, we'll post it on our @TextNowHelp twitter handle.
Check your blocked list. You might be trying to Text a number you've previously blocked. If it’s only happening with one person, as opposed to all numbers - have them contact their carrier. as they may have accidentally blocked you
Make sure you’re using the TextNow app to text. TextNow works for both calling and texting through the TextNow app, as opposed to your phone's native calling and texting apps.
Make sure your TextNow app is up to date. We released new update and optimized versions of both our Android app and iOS app on a regular basis. Check on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store for the most recent version.
