- The right to delete your personal data held by TextNow
- The right to opt-out of the sale of your data
In order to verify that you are the account holder, you must review and complete one of our form(s). The form(s) can be found within your app or accessed from our Privacy Policy. Once completed, you will be asked to upload a piece of photo ID or copy of a piece of mail that includes your address so that we can verify you are a California resident.

- Select ‘Menu’
- Select ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Legal and Privacy’
- Select ‘For California Residents Only – see California Privacy Policy’
- Scroll down to ‘Exercising Access and Data Portability’
- Select ‘Request to Access My Data’
- Follow the instructions to complete the request
How to complete a Data Deletion Request:
- Open TextNow
- Select ‘Menu’
- Select ‘Settings’
- Select ‘Legal and Privacy’
- Select ‘For California Residents Only – see California Privacy Policy’
- Scroll down to ‘Deletion Right’
- Select ‘Request to Delete My Data’
- Follow the instructions to complete the request
Your TextNow account will be deleted when you exercise your right to delete your data.
How to complete an opt-out request:
- Open TextNow
- Select ‘Menu’
- Select ‘Legal and Privacy’
- Select ‘For California Residents Only – see California Privacy Policy’
- Scroll down to ‘Do not sell my personal information’
- Select ‘this opt out link’
- Follow the instructions to complete the request
