At this time our Free WiFi-only service accounts do not support verification codes.
Note: If the app you are trying to receive verification codes (or short codes) from does not consider your TextNow number as a real number then you will not be able to receive the code. Regardless of what subscription you have. This is something that is done by that app and not TextNow. In cases like this please reach out to the app's support and you may be able to have them change it however there is no guarantee that it will work.
