Does TextNow Support Video Calling?

TextNow does not currently support video calling on any devices. Although we have supported the video calling feature in the past, as of June 2022 it is no longer actively available.

 

Why do I still see the video calling option in the app?

If you are using an older app version, you might still see the video calling icon in the TextNow app. However, clicking on this will no longer initiate a video call due to this feature not being actively supported.

Please check the Google Play Store on Android or the App Store on iOS for an app update to make sure that you're always using the latest version of the TextNow app! Check out this article for more on how to update your app version.
