As of August 1st, 2017, TextNow will voluntarily preserve records for a period 90 days, pending receipt of a valid Order. Any verified law enforcement agency can submit a preservation request to TextNow.
Please download the correct Preservation Request form in accordance with your type of law enforcement agency.
Your preservation request should be submitted to our Law Enforcement Portal. Please email us at lawenforcement@textnow.com for information and access to our Portal.
If you require the records to be preserved longer, please contact us to request an extension. It is the responsibility of the requesting law enforcement agency to monitor their 90 days deadline and communicate the need for an extension to TextNow.
