As of August 1st, 2017, TextNow will voluntarily preserve records for a period 90 days, pending receipt of a valid Order. If the Order is not available yet, we will accept a formal preservation request from any law enforcement agency.
Please submit and complete a preservation request by downloading the correct form in accordance to your type of law enforcement agency and sending it lawenforcement@textnow.com with subject line “Preservation Request”.
If you require the records to be preserved longer, please contact us to request an extension. It will be the responsibility of the requesting law enforcement authority to monitor their 90 days deadline and communicate the need for an extension to TextNow.
