How to upgrade to Ad-Free+
- Open the TextNow app and tap on the menu in the top left corner
- Tap Remove Ads & Lock Number
- Tap on Get Ad-Free+
- Follow the on-screen steps to make your purchase through the Google Play Store or App Store
Once the purchase is successful you'll see a message on the bottom part of the screen confirming you now have access to all of the features included in Ad-Free+!

What's included in Ad-Free+?
An Ad-Free+ subscription will remove all ads from the TextNow app and enable the following features:
- Lock in your number
- Receive verification codes
- Unlimited photo and video history for past messages
- See who called when caller information is available
- Call forwarding
- Voicemail transcription
How does call forwarding work?
With call forwarding, you can use your TextNow number to route calls to another number in the US or Canada, so when people call your TextNow number it diverts the call to ring from another number.
How to set up call forwarding
- From the TextNow app, click on the main menu button in the top left-hand corner
- Select Settings
- Select Calling
- Click on Call Forwarding
- Toggle Call Forwarding to the ON position. The app will then ask you for a number to forward your TextNow calls to. If you ever need to change the forwarding number, tap on Forward To on the Call Forwarding page.
How do I unsubscribe from Ad Free+?
In the TextNow app, open the menu and then tap on Ad-Free+. You should see it at the top of your TextNow menu, with a checkmark next to it. From there, tap on Manage Subscription to cancel or modify your subscription to Ad-Free+.
You can also manage your Ad-Free+ subscription through the Google Play or Apple account that you subscribed with. To do so, you'll need to log into the same account that you were using on your device when you started your Ad-Free+ subscription.

I turned on Ad-Free+ by accident! How can I get a refund?
Ad-Free+ subscriptions are billed through either the Google Play Store (for Android) or the App Store (for iOS). For refunds to in-app purchases, you'll need to contact the App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device.
