We've recently discovered an issue with Motorola's software on certain Motorola phones which prevents the phone from connecting to the TextNow data network. Unfortunately, this is not something we can permanently resolve and we are going to implement a work around to get the data connection working as best as possible until we are able to ship you a new, compatible SIM card for our new faster network.
- If you are on a paid plan with TextNow you will not be charged for your wireless service until you receive that new SIM in approximately 4-6 weeks.
We ask as well that until you receive and activate your new SIM card, you do not change your plan through the app or on TextNow.com as it will cause connectivity issues, so please reach out to us so that we may change it for you if needed.
